The center of Medeltidsveckan is at the market on Gotlandsänget. At the big marketplace a lot of sellers gather to bring their mediaeval products and services to the public. Well not everything is really mediaeval, there is also a bit of junk as in every market. The stand holders who have the best shop receive a prize. At Hattorget artists can play, after the show they may collect money from the audience, by walking around with a hat.. that's the origin of the name: Hatt Torget. Here is my view of this year's Medieaval Market.
