Medeltidsveckan 2008 started with a spectaculair show. Josefin Alfredson made it an unforgettable opening of the festival. As you might know Medeltidsveckan in Visby celebrated it's 25th festival. Josefin created a performance with a focus on 3 periods. It started off with 1984: the first year Medeltidsveckan was held. Symbolised by Indiana Jones and Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley originally from "Herreys", Swedish European Song Festival winner in that year. Then came 2008, the here and now with a spectaculair show in the air. And ofcourse a bit more traditional was the year 1361... The Waldemar year remembered during this week. Magnificant work Josefin!
